On this page, I will try to answer questions that are frequently asked about Vampyres. If you have any questions that are not answered here, use the form at the bottom of this page to submit your questions to me.

Q. Do Vampyres really drink blood?
A. Most Vampyres do, however, some don't, they feed psychically, by draining the energy from their victims.

Q. What is the difference between Vampire and Vampyre?
A. Okay, I can't answer this one, many Vampyres have different views, I prefer Vampyre, but some use Vampire. It is really up to you.

Q. Can you turn into smoke?
A. Definitely not, you have to remember, we are nothing like the Vampyres in the movies!

Q. Does contact with sunlight, kill you?
A. Not quite, but for some Vampyres, they do have a very violent reaction to sunlight. I suppose, if they were in the sunlight for long enough, it could kill them. Some Vampyres love the sunlight!

Q. Are Vampyres nocturnal?
A. Not all of us, Vampyres that have an allergy to sunlight usually are. Most Vampyres though, can't really live a nocturnal life, although most want to, like everyone else, we have responsibilities, jobs etc, so it is hard to live a nocturnal life.

Q. How do you kill a Vampyre?
A. The same was as anyone else, a stake through the heart would kill anyone wouldn't it? However, holy water and crosses don't work.

Q. Do you sleep in coffins?
A. Some Vampyres do sleep in coffins, but not all..

Q. Do you have fangs?
A. Some Vampyres are lucky enough to real fangs, however, not all do, some Vampyres, like a friend of mine has some that her dentist made, they are permanent, and they look great.

Q. How can you tell if someone is a Vampyre?
A. You can't! Not unless they tell you.

Q. How do you get the blood from your donors?
A. This varies, some people use razor blades, some use needles, some use Lancets. See my 'Feed Me' page for some feeding techniques.

Q. Do all Vampyres wear black?
A. Nope, some wear bright colours, we do have individuality u'know!

Q. If you are interested in this way of life, where is the best place to get contact? Can you do it on your own?
A. Good question, the way I started to form friendships with other Vampyres was to join elists, OneList have a great selection of lists. Join some of them that are related to Vampyres and you're bound to find some dark souls that you get on with! I also looked across the web for Vampyre pages, and then emailed the owners to start making friends, that is how I met my dear friend Lucifyra LaCroix.

Q. Why and who would hunt you?
A. Some people are scared of what they do not understand, some people like to destroy what they don't understand, so I suppose the Vampyre Hunters who are usually misinformed people, of all ages, want to destroy Vampyres because they don't understand us, and they feel threatened by us.
